Day 2 - Dubrovnik and district - lunch

Our lunch stop was inland at the National Restaurant Konavoski Dvori on the river Ljuta – the so-called ‘River of Youth’. Drink enough of it and you'll go back to your childhood, no doubt!

The restaurant gets excellent reviews on TripAdvisor and it was.

Day 2 Dubrovnik and district

We got to Dubrovnik at midday and immediately set off on our tour – ‘Highlights of the Dubrovnik Riviera’. We don’t usually book any tours longer than about 4 hours and this one had slipped through the net, being around 5 hours long, but it was a tour up there with the very best we’ve done from a ship.

First of all we set off along the coast .... our first view was of an island used in the filming of the 'Game of Thrones' series.
